Sick Baby

Isabel developed a fever that wouldn't go away for more than 3 days. All she wanted to do was cuddle (that was the first indication something was wrong!) She wasn't sleeping well at night. She insisted on being held and snuggled at night, so we spent a few nights sleeping on the couch together downstairs. Poor baby. She hasn't been sick like this very often. 

I took her to the doctor on the 4th day of her fever and she had a double ear infection. We were able to get her started on anti-biotics right away and she almost instantly started sleeping better. She had a ton of drainage from one of her ears. I've never seen that in any of my kids! Fortunately, she was nearly back to her happy self just in time for her grandparents to come visit.
