Lexi had a Christmas dance "recital" the first week of December. Admission was free, but each family was asked to bring cookies or a treat to share. We made Holly Clusters. As you can see, the girls were really big helpers.
We have never been to one of the Christmas recitals, in the past she has only done dance from January-May, so we didn't really know what to expect. It was very casual. There were props and costumes that the girls put on backstage when they arrived. Lexi danced 3 times. She did "Deck the Halls" Ballet number. "Christmas Time in Texas" was a jazz number that she did with another class. And then there was a group number that all of the dancers in the "company" participated in.
I love to watch her dance. She works really hard to learn the routines and is a beautiful, graceful dancer.
We had fun eating cookies and drinking punch afterwards. Way to go Lex!
