We've lived in Caldwell for nearly 3 years now. We've heard about the night light parade they do, but it's always been too cold for us to want to take the kids out in it. So of course, this year, when it's 13 degrees outside, we decide to take all 4 kids out to see the lights and the parade. Makes complete sense, right?
The city of Caldwell puts up a pretty impressive light display around Indian Creek. It's beautifully lit up and fun to walk around.
We walked around for awhile and were all so frozen, we went back to the car to wait for the parade to come. Well, we waited, and waited, and waited and still no sign of it! So we finally decided to drive down towards the start and stop and park when we could see it.
Not sure how she feels about the snowsuit.
Marc stayed with Isabel in the car, and I took the bigger kids out to watch for awhile. They loved it! Candy was thrown out, music was playing, the floats were cool, and everyone was saying "Merry Christmas!" it was fun. The floats all started to blend together and it was so cold so we left before it was over. The kids didn't seem to mind and had their fill. It was a fun way to start out the Christmas season.
