There is no simple way to describe what I've seen from Michael Phelps this week. I never thought I'd see a day where my wife and I would be staying up nightly until 11:30pm, waving our arms and cheering for a swimmer. What a treat to watch him....and to listen to him express appreciation for his teammates. I never saw Jesse Owens or Jim Thorpe. Years from now I'll tell Tyler and Bryce and their kids "I saw Michael Phelps."
