Ice Castles

Marc surprised us with a family outing to go see the Ice Castles in Midway. We had no idea what to expect, but thought it would be an adventure that we would like to have!

It was pouring rain the night that we went. We thought since it was snowing in our neighborhood, there would be snow at the Ice Castles too, but we were mistaken. This dampened the evening a little bit because every one was so wet and got cold a lot faster.

Our overall opinion, it was cool to see once. I don't think we'll need to go see it again, especially with how pricey it was. The crowds made it difficult to enjoy some of the fun things like the slide and some of the tunnels. It was a bummer that it was raining because Isabel was done after an hour tops. She was melting down on the way out. The other kids had a good time and we had a fun evening as a family!
