October this and that

There was a lot of dressing up during October.

While we were watching General Conference, our new to us piano was delivered!

The boys were taught by their cousins how to play chess. Marc has battled it out with them several times.

Isabel and I met up with Marc for lunch one day.

Our friend, Scott Miller, hooked us up with 4 tickets to the BYU football game. Marc took the big kids and I stayed with Isabel. We had a "girls night" we got Sonic for dinner, went shopping, and stopped for dessert. The kids had a really fun time at the football game. We were worried they'd get bored, but Marc said they did great. Lexi had a blast watching the cheerleaders and even came home with her own BYU cheerleading outfit. Guess what she's going to be for Halloween?

Isabel helped me put out the pumpkins on our front porch and get things decorated.
After we took fall pictures of the kids, they got to play at the park for awhile
Marc is so good at playing with them. Most of the time they play "zombie tag" together

We got together with our friends for a big ol Halloween shindig. It was hosted at the Eliason's house. Levi and Tanner Antoine were there, as with Lee and Scott Miller. We had a really fun time, but my do we have a lot of kids between the 4 of our families! LOL.

Lexi lost her first tooth (teeth)! She was over the moon in excitement!

In true Glutz fashion, we waited until the last minute to get pumpkins, and paid a fortune for them at this pumpkin patch.

 Gorgeous sunset in our neighborhood!
At the ward Halloween Activity, Marc and I won first place for our chili and came home with a trophy! Not bad for the rookies in the ward!

The kids had dress up days the week before Halloween. This day was crazy sock and hair day

We took a quick trip to Idaho in October. We showed up early on Saturday morning, watched Dallin and Nathan's football game. Then Marc, Isabel and I drove out to the church Orchard and bought apples and pears for me to can. The kids played with cousins. We shopped at Kids Again, my favorite consignment shop for kids stuff in Meridian. We went to church in Caldwell on Sunday, it felt weird to be back. Caldwell just isn't home anymore, and probably never will be again. It was a quick trip. Seems like they always are now and the drive home is miserable.

Here's Isabel helping me with making applesauce:
