Here's our little cowgirl, she was too stinking cute!
The roundup was completely funded/run by volunteers, which was mostly made up of prominent business owners here in Caldwell.
Going through an obstacle course:

This organization, Personal Ponies, came with Shetland ponies came and let the kids walk the horses, ride in a buggy pulled by them, brush them, read a story with one and just snuggle with them. I was really impressed with the mission of the organization and the volunteers that help to run it. Every kid that came through got to pick out a book! And they were really nice books too.
The kids really enjoyed launching corn:
We misbehaved and were thrown in the local jail:
What a great event! Marc and I couldn't believe the amount of work and effort that went in to making it so much fun for the kids. We could have left right after that and been good, but we still had an entire rodeo to watch!
We definitely knew more of what to expect this year. Lots of good looking cowboys ;) hehe
The kids enjoyed it for awhile, but it was so SLOW. It took a long time in between riders, events, etc and we got bored quickly.
The kids were good sports. We wanted to stay for the bull riding, but it was after 10 and we had already been there for 5 hours!
Lexi constantly asks when she can go to the rodeo again every time we drive by Simplot Stadium, so I guess she had a good time! lol. Until next year!
