Touch a Truck Day

On Saturday we went to the zoo for it's 2nd annual "Touch a Truck Day" We showed up and the entire main parking lot was filled with Firetrucks, Ambulances, a Crane, a dump truck, a bus, construction vehicles, a tank, the bomb squad truck, and we arrived just in time to watch the helicopter come in and land. It was awesome! The boys were so excited and then instantly overwhelmed. They got these little yellow hats that they wore just long enough to snap a picture in.


Bryce got to get inside and even "drive" the firetruck. At this point, Tyler had one thing on his mind and that was seeing the helicopter so he wasn't very amiable with the whole firetruck gig.

Sitting in the Sheriff's helicopter, very cool! If you ask the boys what a helicopter says they'll go "chop chop chop" and move their hands in circles.

What a great event! We had a blast and wish we could thank all of the people who came out with their trucks to let the kids explore them. We can't wait until next year!
