Our Week

I sent this in an email to my mom, but thought it was worth posting. This is from Tyler & Bryce:

We've been busy this week. Mom drug us to the grocery store on Monday and we bought all this "healthy" stuff. She thinks she's going to try and deceive us into eating vegetables, but boy she doesn't know who she's up against. She tried to put cauliflower in our eggs, can you believe it? Bryce didn't care and ate them up anyway, but Tyler could detect them and refused to eat them. Mom fed us burritos last night and they were actually pretty good, we both chowed down at least. Mom was smirking a bit as we ate, maybe she knew something we didn't?

Tuesday we had a bunch of kids come over to our house for a while (mom was gabbing, she said something about "visiting teachers") and we showed them how to have a good time! First we showed them how to climb on the furniture, kind of an initiation thing. Then we showed them how to take all the toys and distribute them throughout the entire house, that was a lot of fun! And for the finale, we had a blast showing our friends how to throw things down the toilet! Tyler tried first with his blocks, but they didn't make a very good splash. So Bryce threw his truck in there and man did that splatter. Then mom had to come running in to spoil all our fun. That night we got to go to the gym at church and play with the basketballs there. We were having such a great time then dad had to come and ruin it all by taking us home and putting us to bed.

Wednesday we got to go back to the church to play with our friends and all the toys. We had a blast! Our friends are such great teachers, we learned how to climb on top of the containers and jump off and how to run and scream at the same time. Our friend Daxton likes to make silly faces at us and Tyler thinks he's hilarious.

Thursday Mom drug us to the library. We weren't quite sure what was going on at first. All of these people were in a circle and the lady at the front kept telling the kids to sit on their "bottoms". What's a bottom anyway? We watched everybody else sing silly songs and dance. We even got to shake a musical something. Mommy said we were doing a good job so we must have been doing something right. Then the lady got out toys for us! We got to play with puzzles and blocks. We really like blocks. We get kind of frustrated sometimes when we can't figure out how they go together, but we're getting better!

On Friday Daddy came home early from work and we got to play with him! We loved showing him and mommy what cool towers we can build with our blocks. After our nap, we got to to the Children's Museum! We love going there, we got to play with balls, blocks, climb in the tree house, splash in the water, and play in the sandbox. We think we wore Mom and Dad out. They were pretty eager to put us to bed. It was only 6:30! They said something about watching "Miss Potter" when we went to sleep.
