Marc told me this year for his birthday he wanted to have friends over and not worry about how late we were going to stay up and play games. Ok, easy enough! His favorite birthday treat is Cheesecake. Of course, I got a late start on that, and he was lucky to get one at all! I found a copy cat recipe for Snickers Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. It turned out ok. All the snickers pieces sunk to the bottom, so the crust was super chunky. It was still tasty and I guess that's what matters!
We invited our friends Gina and Bryan and Danny & Deanne to come play games with us. We had asked the Sorenson's to bring over their x-box connect. We had thought we'd play some board games or card games too, but spent the whole night playing different x-box games. The boys got really into guitar hero, and we stayed up until 2:00 in the morning beating the entire game!
Marc's real birthday was on a Sunday. He celebrated by going to lots of church meetings :)
