Halloween

The kids got to go trick-or-treating with their cousins this year. This is the 3rd out of 4 Halloweens that we've been together with the Galloways for Halloween. My sister-in-law Codi made a super yummy dinner of chili and cornbread for dinner and the kids were so excited to go trick-or-treating they could hardly contain themselves. We "finally" finished dinner and got them all dressed up in their costumes. This is my favorite part of Halloween. The anticipation of going out, being all dressed up and the giddiness of all the kids, so fun! Here's our crew of trick-or-treaters:
They all had so much fun! Lexi loved being outside and sensed the excitement of it all. We tried to put her in the car with my mom a couple of times and she wanted nothing of it, she wanted to stay out with the big kids. The boys would just run from the houses, "Mom! we got more trick-or-treats!" Tyler could hardly move his feet at the end. His bucket of candy was so heavy and his little legs so tired from running so far and fast to keep up with the big kids. It was a great night!
