7 Months

My little goober is 7 months old. She turns 8 months old in 3 days, so I'm trying to squeeze this post in at the last minute!

At 7 months, Isabel is:
*Picking up cheerios and small puffs with her fingers and getting them in her mouth about 70% of the time now
*Drinking out of a sippie cup
*Has taken a bottle  (even from me!)
*Will go from sitting to crawling position
*On the verge of crawling, still scooting backwards 90% of the time, but can spin on her belly like it's nobody's business :) She pushes forward with her toes and has unexpected reaching capacity. Will get up on her knees and rock like a race car getting ready to take off
*LOVES paper. Oh my word, can't keep her away from it. Family scripture study is turning into a major battle
*Likes to look at books, especially the touch and feel books
*Gets excited when she sees dogs. Likes to be licked by them
*Can pull herself to a stand when holding onto your fingers, then gets very pleased with herself
*Is just like a bouncing Tigger. Will jump like crazy if she is standing on your lap
*Likes to tease me by sleeping through the nights one or two nights in a row, then goes back to waking up during the middle of the night again
*Loves to be outside looking around. Enjoys going for rides in her stroller.
*Can sit up all by herself in the shopping cart!
*Demands to be fed as soon as she is put in her high chair.
*Hair is getting long enough to stick straight up
*Starting to babble a little bit. Love the little sounds that are starting to emerge
*Loves to hear herself, especially in the middle of Sacrament Meeting or Relief Society. If she's chewing on a toy, it almost sounds like she's growling
