Dallin comes to visit

My nephew, Dallin, came to stay with us for a couple of days. The kids had a great time playing together! On Friday, the kids played together all morning. We went and picked cherries (more on that later), hit up the library, and then ate lunch at the park:

We even went swimming at the Y for a little while.

We watched the Muppets, which is currently my kids absolute favorite movie, and then just played for awhile and had to run a few errands to get ready for our garage sale the next morning. The kids were completely wiped out by the end of the day! Definitely no problems putting them to bed.

We were up extra early on Saturday to get ready for the garage sale. We had baked cookies, and bagged cherries for the kids to sell to earn money for book orders during the school year. The little boys are successful salespeople. It got boring for them to stay out all morning, but if we had large crowds I'd always try to get them back out. We were shocked at how well the cherries sold! Apparently, we fulfilled a fantasy of Dallin's by having a garage sale. He's always wanted to, but its not something his parents do. Glad we could take care of that for you Dallin :)

The kids enjoyed playing in the sprinklers and jumping on the trampoline. They all just played really well together which is awesome! His parents came to get him right before dinner. Love these chances to get to know my nieces and nephews better
