Doughnuts, Tacos & Despicable Me

Friday, June 3rd was National Doughnut Day. In Celebration, Krispy Kreme gives away free doughnuts to anyone who comes in. We had some errands to do in Boise, so we loaded everyone up and made a a fun family night out of it. We each picked our own doughnut and enjoyed their sweet deliciousness. Then we pulled out an ugly tie and traded it in for a box of a dozen FREE glazed doughnuts. 17 free doughnuts in all, best promotion ever!After indulging in our pre-dinner treat, we went over to RC Willey to peruse their merchandise. They sent us a coupon for $25.00 off anything, minimum purchase of $25. We tried our best to get something for free, but they didn't have much there that was useful to us for $25. We ended up buying an over-priced version of "Despicable Me" which is one our new favorite movies. I spent a total of $5 on it which I can't complain about!

We then hit up Del Taco for some 39 cent tacos and split a drink. We enjoyed eating outside in the sunshine, which has been a rare treat for Boise this time of year! We had a great time together and it was fun to go splurge a little bit for things we don't normally get to enjoy!
