Back in February, Tyler had tubes put into his ears because of his chronic ear infections and the fluid not draining correctly. The difference after putting the tubes in was like night and day, he was sleeping better, his motor development skills took off, and he was responding more to sounds. We haven't had any problems with ear infections since. They say tubes last anywhere from 6 months to 3 years + and unfortunately Tyler's tubes are coming out already. One ear looks great, but the other ear has fluid again (not to mention he's not sleeping well, he's very tipsy turvy, and is starting to get pretty cranky which the ENT says is all related to the fluid in his ear). So, since our insurance is now paying 100% of all medical costs (we had to reach a huge deductible where everything was out of pocket until we reached that magic number) we are going to have the tubes put back in. He is scheduled for surgery on December 19th at 8:30 in the morning. Wish us luck that everything goes well, and hopefully these tubes will last longer!

Cute little guy. We'll be thinking of him!
Oh I hear those are no fun, but make such a HUGE difference! I'm glad you guys were able to fit it in this year so insurance could help. Good luck, we'll be thinking of you guys!
I would be happy to watch Bryce if you need me!
