Did someone say Winter?

After the snow storms in November, the snow just kept coming! It was exciting and definitely helped put us in the Christmas Season.

Santa came to the Club House and we got to go meet him.

Tyler asked for a Hamster

 Lexi asked for a scarf

Isabel was so excited about Santa until it was actually time to meet him, then she just froze. She asked for a puzzle.

 Bryce asked for a watch.

 Crazy hair day!

 Look who lost another tooth!

Making Christmas Ornaments for Grandparents.

Some of the final results:

Tyler and Bryce have been singing in the Suncrest Children's Choir, which was put on by the stake. They had a Christmas Performance and did a wonderful job.
We got lots and lots of snow!

She decided to dress herself, funny goose.
The kids' school had a Christmas Sing-A-Long. Each grade performed a couple of songs. We didn't know when they would perform, and both Lexi and the boys were the last to go.

More fun in the snow. The only disappointing thing is that the snow is too powdery to make snow men out of. But they pull each other around in the sleds, make snow caves out of the snow that was shoveled on the sides of the road/driveway

Our mail box has to be dug out because the plows come by and practically cover it. I've never lived in so much snow before!!

I'm sure glad we were prepared with snow gear before it all hit! The kids have had so much more fun playing in the snow because they've been properly outfitted for it. Thankfully, they were able to wear a lot of the same things as last year and we didn't have to spend too much more, but I did buy snow boots, one new pair of snow pants, and Isabel's snow suit from the consignment shop in Boise when we were there in October and that helped us save a lot!

Marc and I were able to get tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert. We learned that driving to and finding parking down town is a nightmare, especially with a Jazz game and the increased traffic at Temple Square with the lights/festivities. If we get to go again, we'll definitely take Trax! It was a great concert. We enjoyed it a lot. We walked around the temple again, grabbed some goodies to munch on and made our way home. We were worried about Isabel going to sleep, but never expected to find her still awake past 11:00 at night! The poor baby sitter, I don't know if he'll ever want to come back! But it was a fun night and we loved being able to get out by ourselves
