Marc competed in the Spudman Triathlon on July 28, which is put on by the YMCA. It's a tough race and he did awesome. The race starts up at Lucky Peak for the swim portion.
The bike course is pretty grueling. It has an intense 5 mile hill to climb. Marc has been drooling over "tri-bikes" for a couple of years now. They go a lot faster with less effort than a normal road bike. He's about the fastest he can go on a road bike and probably won't take off much more time until he gets a tri-bike. Keep saving your pennies sweetheart!
Since the race is an Olympic Distance, he ran 6.2 miles at the end. He had a great time and finished really well. We were quite proud of him :) Way to go babe!!
